This journal provides immediate free access to its content under the principle of making research freely available to the public, which fosters greater global knowledge exchange, therefore, it is an Open Access journal, available in Open Access without time restrictions and is included in Open Access databases and repositories.

The journal Science portal publishes a large number of titles under Open Access licenses that are already available on the journal's Official Site, through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform. Over the coming months, this digital collection will continue to grow with new publications at the international level.

Most of these titles are open access under a specially adapted Creative Commons licence, which allows any user to download, copy, distribute, translate, reuse, adapt and develop their content free of charge. The only conditions required when granting the CC-BY-NC-SA attribution licence are those detailed on the corresponding page.

Creative Commons licences are model contracts that serve to publicly grant the right to use a copyright-protected publication. The fewer restrictions a licence implies, the greater the possibilities to use and distribute content.

The open access publications of Science portal require additional conditions for the use of their content. These additional conditions depend on the type of licence that is granted, as explained below: CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0

Users may remix, transform and build upon the content of our publication for non-commercial purposes, provided that any derivative works of the original publication are distributed under the same CC-BY-NC-SA licence.

Science portal journal asserts that all authors have full rights to their work and the journal only reserves the right of first publication and other non-exclusive rights.
