Educational research: challenges in university teaching

Educational research and university teaching, within the framework of the paradigm crisis of the human and social sciences, and in the face of the assumption of new theoretical perspectives, have among their premises the vindication of the human and qualitative in the search for social and educational. Taking on this challenge requires training in research and methodology, as well as knowledge of the theoretical bases of ontological, epistemological, axiological, methodological and teleological aspects. The objective of the article is to critically reflect on the processes of educational research as one of the challenges of university teaching. The study combines the interpretive with the survey technique applied to 26 students of the Education Sciences program at the Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Bolivia. In the debate and reflection of the relationships and mediations of both conceptual categories, it is imperative to point out that teaching requires educational research to contribute significantly to the construction of the investigative culture and teaching accompanied by critical didactics for the qualification of the processes of training the future professional in Educational Sciences
