Abstract

The scientific article "Affirmative Actions" aims to analyze the effectiveness and impact of affirmative action policies in promoting equal opportunities for historically marginalized groups. To do so, a qualitative methodology is used that includes an exhaustive literature review, case studies, and interviews with experts on the subject, allowing for a deep understanding of the contexts in which these measures are implemented. The main results indicate that, although affirmative actions have made significant progress in the inclusion of minorities in various areas, there are persistent challenges, such as the lack of disaggregated data that hinder an accurate assessment of their effectiveness in different population groups. In conclusion, the study highlights the need to strengthen the regulatory framework governing affirmative actions and proposes specific recommendations to improve their implementation and monitoring, emphasizing that these policies are essential to address structural inequality and move towards a more just and inclusive society.
