The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation System established by the National Accreditation Board in Cuba assesses five key variables for the different academic programs: relevance and social impact, faculty, students, infrastructure, and curriculum. The cloister variable focuses on revealing all the pertinent information that underpins its quality, so it is necessary to collect and evidence a significant volume of data and information. The present research developed at the University of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos, has as its main objective the development of a computer system for the management of information related to the cloister variable according to the criteria established by the National Accreditation Board in its Evaluation and Accreditation. For this, the software development methodology followed was Rational Unified Process and the Unified Modeling Language modeling language. The main tool was Visual Paradigm for UML 8.0 Enterprise Edition for modeling the requirements. As the main result, a software is obtained to manage all the information of the cloister of the different academic programs of Higher Education in Cuba.
