Enseñanza de los ángulos geométricos en la formación inicial de Ingeniería Civil: una revisión bibliográfica

La enseñanza de la geometría y la trigonometría en los primeros niveles de Ingeniería Civil suele impartirse de manera abstracta, desvinculada de los problemas propios de la disciplina, lo que dificulta que el estudiantado reconozca su valor aplicado. El propósito de este artículo fue analizar, desde una perspectiva formativa, la importancia de los ángulos geométricos en la configuración de edificaciones y sistemas estructurales, con el fin de identificar aportes de la literatura académica que permitan fortalecer su enseñanza en la formación inicial de Ingeniería Civil. Se empleó una revisión bibliográfica de enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo-analítico, no sistemática, basada en literatura reciente sobre geometría aplicada, configuración estructural, representación gráfica y tecnologías educativas. Los resultados muestran que los ángulos organizan relaciones espaciales, constructivas y estructurales presentes en cubiertas, rampas, escaleras, cerchas y sistemas reticulados; que la triangulación constituye un principio didáctico útil para introducir la noción de estabilidad estructural; y que herramientas como BIM, GeoGebra y la realidad aumentada favorecen la visualización espacial de estas relaciones durante el aprendizaje. Se concluye que integrar ejemplos constructivos reales en la enseñanza de la geometría y la trigonometría fortalece la comprensión espacial de los estudiantes de Ingeniería Civil y facilita la transición hacia asignaturas posteriores de dibujo técnico, topografía y análisis estructural, lo que representa un aporte pedagógico relevante para la formación de ingenieros civiles.
