Abstract
The journal Sociedad & Tecnología, in its 9th volume, number 2 of 2026, reaffirms its commitment to disseminating scientific knowledge as a public good at the service of society. This issue brings together research from diverse geographical contexts—Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Algeria, Yemen, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador—demonstrating its international reach and its commitment to transcending academic and cultural boundaries. The plurality of approaches and issues addressed strengthens interdisciplinary dialogue and contributes to the collective construction of knowledge. In this context, the internationalization of scientific production not only implies the circulation of knowledge but also its critical appropriation in different social environments. As Espinoza-Freire (2025) points out, research constitutes a fundamental epistemic matrix that articulates cognitive and social processes, allowing us to understand the complexity of contemporary phenomena from integrative perspectives. This vision is reflected in the works that make up this issue, which address educational, technological, organizational, and social issues.
