Good Living and its impact on the Ecuadorian Constitution

Ecuador is a Constitutional State of rights and justice, social, democratic, sovereign and independent, where the implementation of the Good Living plan includes the right of people to satisfy their basic needs such as education, housing, food and health, among others. This article aims to analyze the impact generated by Good Living in the Ecuadorian Constitution; for which a descriptive study of the bibliographic review type was developed with a qualitative approach, based on exegetical methods, documentary review, content analysis and analytical-synthetic. Among the findings obtained are: the incorporation of the Sumak Kawsay in the 2008 Constitution, a transcendental fact for being the first time that a concept of indigenous traditions is constitutionally recognized and the positive impact of Good Living in the Ecuadorian Constitution, for its contribution to improve a series of rights and social, economic and environmental guarantees, which help the development of the country. The implementation of Good Living expands the capabilities, freedoms and real opportunities of social actors and above all respect for Human Rights and the right to nature.
