Abstract

Volume 7, Special Issue 1 of Portal de la Ciencia (Science Portal) brings together research that reflects the growing interconnectedness of scientific innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development from a multidisciplinary perspective. The published works address issues related to education, accounting, administration, international trade, law, artificial intelligence, taxation, business management, and organizational studies, highlighting the need for comprehensive scientific responses to contemporary challenges. This special issue features contributions from researchers in Ecuador and Algeria, strengthening international academic dialogue and the exchange of experiences across diverse social, economic, and legal contexts. It also underscores the journal's commitment to disseminating rigorous and relevant research aimed at generating knowledge useful for decision-making, public policy formulation, and institutional innovation. Taken together, these contributions reflect the strategic role of scientific research as a driving force for understanding, transforming, and addressing the challenges of a society characterized by technological change and the increasing complexity of social phenomena.
