This special February 1, 2026 issue of the journal Sociedad & Tecnología (Society & Technology) brings together a collection of research articles that analyze, from interdisciplinary perspectives, the main legal, social, and technological challenges that characterize contemporary societies. The articles in this edition address issues related to the effective exercise of rights, the digital transformation of social processes, inclusive education, labor dynamics, migration, and technological governance, highlighting the need for regulatory responses and public policies consistent with the principles of equality, social justice, and sustainable development. Collectively, the articles offer critical reflections and analytical proposals that strengthen academic dialogue and contribute to understanding the impact of technology on the current configuration of law and society.
